Passivation Polymer CD-Rom

This disc will provide you with an excellent overview of APRL and the conservation strategies being developed here at Texas A&M University's Nautical Archaeology Program.

Included on the CD are a history of APRL, a photo album of research conducted in the labs, an audio-visual section that includes general descriptions of passivation polymers, what results the conservator can expect by using them, and a three-part conservation tutorial preserving a piece of ancient basketry. Also, you will be provided with polymer acquisition information so that you can outfit your conservation lab with these valuable tools.
